How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to provide you with solar and battery system proposals, quotes, and installation services; process your payment and manage your account; submit grid connection applications and STC documentation on your behalf; comply with our legal obligations; and communicate with you about your system, warranty, and any service matters. We do not use your information for direct marketing without your consent and we do not sell your information to third parties.

Disclosure of Information

We may disclose your personal information to CEC-accredited installation partners who carry out your installation; our registered STC agent for the purpose of processing rebate claims; Distribution Network Service Providers for grid connection applications; government bodies including the Clean Energy Regulator where required by law; and payment processors and financial services providers. All third parties we engage are required to handle your information in accordance with the Privacy Act.

Data Security

We store all personal information securely and take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations, generally a minimum of 7 years for contract and compliance records.

Access and Correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections if it is inaccurate. To make a request, contact us at sunshine@bloomingrays.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
